Bee Sage Farm Yoga

Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines which originated in ancient India. The many goals of yoga include stilling and strengthening mind and body, joining them to achieve mental and physical peace and control.

By practicing goat yoga, we aim to reconnect ourselves with not only our minds and bodies, but with nature, as well.

At Bee Sage Farm, our yoga classes are led by licensed instructors and take place in still, natural clearings where you are free from the distractions of your busy life and surrounded by only plants, animals, and fellow classmates.

Our small herd of goats will accompany your morning exercise, making it a fun experience for animal-lovers and yogis alike. Following the session, time will be allotted for pictures and goat-petting.

The Farm

All goat yoga sessions are held outdoors on the Bee Sage Farm farmstead, located about half an hour Northwest of Minneapolis.

We welcome our class members to relax and enjoy the green grass, fresh air, and sunshine; feel free to say hello to the property’s other animals (of which there are many), as well!

In the event of rain, classes will be canceled and refunded/rescheduled.

The Goats

We began our small herd in 2020 with three Nigerian Dwarf siblings, lovingly named Red, Violet, and Shadow. Not long after, Cinnamon and her sister Ginger, as well as the older boys Graham and Ace, increased our number to seven!

In the late spring of 2023, Violet and Ginger gave birth to triplets (Jacque, Sunny, and Dahlia) and twins (Oreo and Brownie), respectively. These babies were the stars of their 2023 classes, and though they won’t be as little next year, be sure to look out for them in future sessions!
